An emergency services loss, gaskets on chilled water lines leaked into a 500k
sqft space over a course of 3 days. Our team was on campus restoring a smaller mold loss (2 units and supply duct only) when the loss was noted. Approximately 100,000 sqft of space was affected by the
water loss. This client’s new construction building was slated to open in two weeks. However, due to the amount of moisture that leaked into the space, all HVAC was compromised with microbial contamination. 2,116 access holes were cut into this building and damp wiped with an antimicrobial agent.
Total loss between all floors was over $3 million for mitigation only.
